T Level in Management and Administration is a two-year course that prepares students for skilled employment, apprenticeships, or further education. For the course there is a classroom-based component that includes English, maths, and digital provision. The classroom element is split into a Core and an Occupational Specialism (OS). The Core is assessed by written exams and an Employer-Set Project (ESP) which involves demonstrating knowledge and key skills learnt during the first year, while the OS is assessed by an assignment in year 2. The occupational specialism that the college runs here is leadership. Students will need to complete an industry placement as part of the course. This is a minimum of 315 hours (45 days) of practical experience in the student’s chosen sector. Topics and skills taught include project management, research and analysis techniques, logical problem solving, and business communication skills.
