Drama classes aim to cover a wide range of theatrical styles and periods covering everything from Greek Theatre and Shakespeare to plays that are being written and performed now.
Technique classes will develop your skills as performers through movement work (dance, physical theatre and stage combat) and vocal work (Voice and the Actor, Musical Theatre); and you will be given regular opportunities to demonstrate these skills in public performances at a The Old Court Art Space in Windsor.
There is also the opportunity to have a taiored pathway in order to specialise in production arts and learn about set, lighting and sound design and stage management. You will learn about the Performing Arts Business, how to make a professional CV, receive audition tips and techniques and meet professional performers, directors and technicians, learn how to market yourself within the industry, and take part in projects such as touring to local schools and writing, directing and producing your own work.
Students will be guided into pathways of study which college staff feel the individual will excel at and best prepares them for their chosen career in the very competitive world of Performing Arts.
