Course information

What will I study?

You will gain experience in using industry standard equipment and software to create moving images. In addition, you will learn about the industry and its practices.

How will this course be delivered?

In class, face to face.

How will I be assessed?

Over two years, you will undertake 10 units. These will be both internally and externally set and assessed. Four out of the 10 units are mandatory and two of these (Digital Media Skills and Responding to a Commission) are externally set and assessed. The remaining two are internally set and assessed.

There will be a range of both practical and theoretical assessment within each unit. Evidence will be produced in the form of moving creative production, written work, presentations, imagery and observations.

What industry experience will I gain?

During your two years of study you will undertake a work placement. You will also hear from a variety of industry speakers, visit careers’ fairs and attend workshops, trips and visits.
