Course Overview

This level 3 qualification introduces you to more complex tasks in financial accounting and costing and is ideal for anyone wishing to pursue a career in Accountancy or Finance. You will work independently through an eLearning platform, learning how to prepare final accounts of sole traders and partnerships. You will also learn how to maintain cost accounting records and to prepare reports and returns.

This is a fully online course and therefore internet access and a suitable device is required.

Course information

The course is divided into four units which will enable you to achieve the defined professional standards.

1) Business Awareness
2) Financial Accounting: Preparing Financial Statements
3) Management Accounting Techniques
4) Tax Processes for Businesses

Study anytime, anywhere. We would recommend approx. 3 hrs per week of self-study, access to tutor support would be available.

There will be four computer-based assessments (exams) – The course fee includes the exams if they are sat at one of the Windsor Forest Colleges. Alternatively, students can book their exams at an AAT approved exam centre, any associated costs with this will be at the students’ own expense.
